About Us
At Pain Centers Florida, we strive to offer our patients the most compassionate care at the highest level. Our staff and Physicians understand the struggles that chronic pain patients endure on a day to day basis and therefore their main focus is on setting a personalized treatment plan with attainable goals so that the patient can achieve and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
Our centers are A.H.C.A. licensed and have been established and experienced in practicing chronic pain management and outpatient detoxification for over 18 years. We treat all of our patients with the respect and dignity they deserve in dealing with their chronic pain conditions which often take control of one’s life. With their experience and comprehension of chronic pain management, our physicians develop an individualized plan not only to treat the patient but more importantly helping the patient understand the cause of their pain.
Our outpatient opioid detoxification program is done discreetly and in the strictest of confidence using only F.D.A. approved medications overseen by our SAMSHA certified physicians and staff. Our objective is to successfully develop and implement a plan to help patients succeed in the recovery process. Initial dosing is done in our office under the physician’s care to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible. Once the patient is stabilized with the detoxification medication, the tapering process begins and the end goal is to titrate completely off of all medications to enhance the patient’s quality of life. Counseling from a professional therapist is also encouraged as it plays a vital role in the success of the program.

Dr. Luis Roberto Briones Bio
Dr. Luis Roberto Briones practices in our Pembroke Pines location and has been practicing medicine for 42 years. He has specialized in chronic pain management and outpatient detoxification for the past 7 years. Dr. Briones graduated from medical school in 1967 and completed a residency in family medicine and is also SAMSHA certified to treat opioid dependency. Dr. Briones ran a private family practice in Hollywood for 20 years prior to joining our staff in 2008. He currently accepts Medicare and some other private insurances for his services.
Dr. George Rincon Bio
Dr. George Rincon practices in our Ft. Pierce and Pembroke Pines locations. He has an orthopedic background and has been practicing medicine for over 45 years. Dr. Rincon has specialized in chronic pain management for the past 10 years. He also completed a residency in emergency room and trauma care. Dr. Rincon is SAMSHA certified to treat opioid dependency. Dr. Rincon joined our staff in 2013 and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the chronic pain management field.
